Creativity: Sir Ken Robinson meets Leonard Bernstein. What do you think?

Hmmmmmm.... (what follows, of course, is just one man's opinion...)

QUESTION: How do we reconcile the 2 videos below? How does the message of each (actually) relate to the other? More to the point - if you read the article on Bernstein below his video, you'll see that he clearly was a highly creative individual. But in the video, in which he takes on the role of "music educator to the human race" is he fostering student creativity? or killing it?
